I recently stayed for the second time at this elegant hotel in Dubai. Simple and luxurious, with good service and wonderful food from a selection of intimate restaurants, I was happy to go back again. Important to me was the fact that I felt comfortable staying on at breakfast alone while my partner went off to his regional office. I lingered, read the papers, and had more coffee and the best almond croissant I have ever tasted. Lunch solo was also comfortable in the newly opened deli on the ground floor. Later we appreciated the candles in the bathroom... But if you're alone, the design allows you to watch TV from the bath! It's not for you if you want all your entertainment laid on and in one place but is ideal for those who want a comfortable base with its own special qualities.
